Well said! However, the bottom line is that no one knows you and your needs better than you. We really need to start listening to one another and accept what we are being told instead of questioning it simply because it is not our personal experience.

I also find your analysis to be accurately descriptive of my own sudden and powerful need to come out as gay at 42 after 20 years of faithful marriage and 3 children to live my life accordingly.

No one could know better than me what was right and essential for me. The question you answer "Why?" should never be asked because the answer is self evident.
