My thought is that the Kinsey sexual orientation scale exists on a bell curve like most things in nature. This means a few all gays at one end , a few all straights at the other and a vast majority of bisexuals.

More and more women are owning up to their bi interests. Men, however, because of societal taboos, prejudice, and centuries of binary cultural thinking, may take longer to get there. It scares them too much to consider it much less explore their interests.

Kudos to you for figuring yourself out early. It took me until I was 42 in 1991.
